In 2003, 120 Temple Beth Sholom families created the Circle of Giving Society to ensure our Temple's financial stability and guarantee the inclusiveness of our programs. Circle of Giving funding provides critical support for members who are unable to pay their full commitment or service fees and assists our older members on very limited and fixed incomes. Circle of Giving funds also assist our younger members just starting their lives in our community in addition to the many in between. Financial support of our Temple is critical to maintaining Jewish continuity in our community, l'dor v'dor, from generation to generation.
The Circle of Giving Levels range from $3,900-$18,000 and above:
Sustainer: $3,900 - $5,399
Guardian: $5,400 - $9,999
Benefactor: $10,000 - $17,999
Pillar: $18,000 and above
We hope that you will consider joining the Circle of Giving.
Did you know that if you are currently paying the Standard Dues of $3,550 or are a Foundation School family where your Standard Dues are included in your tuition, it is only an additional $350 per year to become a Sustainer in the Circle of Giving?
Those few hundred dollars make an enormous difference for our Temple and allow us to maintain our community culture and help those in need. We have come a long way since opening our doors in 1942 and it is through the loving dedication of our Temple Beth Sholom members that we continue to grow and prosper even during these difficult times.
When we walk into our Temple, we feel the warmth and positive energy that our community has nurtured throughout the many generations. As the High Holy Days approach, please consider joining the Circle of Giving. Every dollar and every act of kindness truly make a difference for our future.
